Why This Non-Medical Independent Living Home Was Created
G.A.S.E. Residences, LLC was created to provide safe, stable, and affordable shared housing for adults who desire independence while living in a respectful, supportive community environment. This is a non-medical, non-licensed independent living model designed for adults who can live independently but benefit from structured housing, accountability, and a sense of belonging. The vision for G.A.S.E. is deeply personal.
I was inspired to create G.A.S.E. Residences because I understand, firsthand, the importance of stability, family, and having a safe place to call home. My life began in foster care as an infant, where I was cared for by loving individuals before being adopted into a family that shaped who I am today. That journey taught me that housing is more than shelter — it is security, dignity, and the foundation for a meaningful life. The name G.A.S.E. honors the legacy of Gertrude, Audrey, Siveria, and Eddie — the family members whose love, faith, unity, and perseverance laid the foundation for everything I stand for. Their values instilled in me a commitment to helping others find stability and community, especially during seasons of transition.
Our Housing Model
G.A.S.E. Residences, LLC offers independent room rentals for adults who are capable of managing their own daily living.
We provide **housing only**. No supervision, personal assistance, case management, medical services, transportation, or life-skills training are offered. Home locations are not publicly listed for privacy and safety.
Service Area
We serve residents throughout the Greater Houston Area. For privacy and safety, specific home addresses are shared **only after screening and approval** with qualified applicants.
To protect the privacy, dignity, and safety of our residents, G.A.S.E. Residences, LLC does not publicly list housing addresses or post exterior photos of homes.
Addresses are disclosed only to approved residents after execution of a lease or occupancy agreement.
G.A.S.E. Residences was created to serve adults who may be living on fixed or limited incomes, including individuals supported by:
- Social Security (SSI or SSDI) Benefits
- Retirement or Pension Benefits
- Railroad Benefits
- VA Disability / Veteran Benefits
- Family Private Pay
- Sponsored Pay
- Third Party Pay
- Vouchers
Many adults in these circumstances do not need medical care or licensed facilities — they need affordable housing, clear expectations, and a supportive environment where independence is respected. Unfortunately, options like this are limited.
G.A.S.E. fills that gap.
Our shared housing model allows residents to maintain autonomy while living in a home that promotes:

G.A.S.E. Residences is not a treatment facility, not a group home, and not a medical program. It is an independent living community for high functioning adults ages 55+ and older, seniors and veterans, intentionally designed to help individuals live with dignity, responsibility, value privacy, comfort and peace of mind.

This work is personal to me because it reflects my own life journey — from foster care to family, from uncertainty to stability. G.A.S.E. exists to extend that same sense of belonging and opportunity to others.
At its core, G.A.S.E. Residences is about honoring legacy while creating pathways forward — building communities and preserving legacies, one home at a time.
